Convocation of the first batch
of Syrian Orthodox Biblical and Liturgical Academy of South Zone Region was held
today at St. Gregorios Patriarchal Centre, Parumala. His Beatitude Aboon Mor
Baselius Thomas I inaugurated the function and Mor Aphrem Mathews distributed
certificates to those who have successfully completed the course. Mor Coorilose
Geevarghese presided over the meeting. About 50 lay women and men received
certificates. A post diploma course will be offered to the graduates soon as a
follow up program of this lay theological institute.
